Alzheimer's Research Trust - PhD Scholarship

The Alzheimer’s Research UK asks for applications for its PhD scholarship. The closing date for submitting proposals is October 25, 2013. The award is for three years and is for a full PhD programme. The award provide a stipend of £15,000 per annum (£16,000 in London), PhD tuition fees at the Home/EU rate and research/travel costs. These costs are normally for up to £10,000 per annum but ARUK will consider requests for up to £15,000 per annum if there is sufficient justification with inherently costly research (eg imaging, animal work).

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity specialising in finding preventions, causes, treatments and a cure for dementia. Alzheimer’s Research UK has a large number of different grant schemes through which researchers can apply for funding.
