Paedriatric Infectious Diseases - ESPID Fellowship Award 2015 (€ 100,000)

The European Society for Paedriatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID) asks for applications for its Fellowship Award 2015-2017. Deadline for submitting proposals is January 31, 2015. The goal of the fellowship award is to stimulate basic or clinical research that utilizes advanced techniques and methods to improve the health of children by prevention or management of infectious diseases. Applications with emphasis on prevention will receive high priority.

Applicants must either come from the European region or must be resident and working there to undertake the fellowship or both. Applicant must be less than 40 years old on the day of the deadline. The annual stipend will be € 50,000 for fellows working in the European region or US$ 50,000 for fellows working in the US or Americas. Fellows working elsewhere in the world may choose in which of these two currencies their stipend will be paid. This stipend will be given annually for two years subject to review at the end of the first year.
