Call H2020 Societal Challenges - Energy

The European Commission has launched a call for proposals under the main pillar Societal Challenges (SC) of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation - Horizon 2020. The closing date for applications is February 4, 2014. The call Energy Efficiency - PPP EeB and SPIRE topics with identifier H2020-EE-2015-1-PPP has a budget of € 17,000,000.

The submission session is now available for the topics EE-02-2015: Buildings design for new highly energy performing buildings; and topic EE-18-2015: New technologies for utilization of heat recovery in large industrial systems, considering the whole energy cycle from heat production to transformation, delivery and end use.

Horizon 2020 is the successor of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) and the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP). The budget is € 80 billion for the 7 years duration of the programme. Organisations that are involved in research, technological development, and innovation on an international scale and individual researchers can participate in the programme.
