Extensive research has demonstrated that the quality of research and development provides significant benefits when gender is considered as a critical success factor. Attendees will discuss opportunities to reach excellence by taking into consideration gender as a dimension of research as well as an important driver to promote innovation and mobility of talent and knowledge.

The event will be a forum for stakeholders including research, industry and policy makers to jointly examine how gender issues will impact the implementation of the upcoming Horizon 2020, European Research Area and Innovation Union.
