Microbiology - ASM ICAAC 2013 awards

The American Society for Microbiology (ASM) accepts nominations for the ICAAC 2013 awards. Deadline for submissions is April 1, 2013. The awards are the following:
• ICAAC Young Investigator Awards: Recognize and reward early career scientists for research excellence and potential in microbiology and infectious diseases, $ 3,000;
• Cubist-ICAAC Award: ASM's premier award honoring outstanding accomplishment in antimicrobial research, $ 10,000. 

The ASM is the world's largest scientific society of individuals interested in the microbiological sciences. The Society’s mission is to advance microbiological sciences through the pursuit of scientific knowledge and dissemination of the results of fundamental and applied research.
