Second call announced for Indo-Dutch on computer science
The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, and NWO will jointly publish a second Computer Science Call for Proposals with a focus on Big Data and Internet-of-Things. The call will offer funding opportunities for bilateral research cooperation between both Dutch and Indian research groups and industrial partners. MeitY and NWO organize a matchmaking workshop in Bangalore, India, on October 25 and 26, 2017. The deadline to register is August 23, 2017.
Scientists from academia and industry with a special interest in Big Data and/or Internet-of-Things are invited to participate in the workshop. NWO provides funding for the travel and accommodation of max. 12 senior researchers. The workshop is open to all but the participation of applicants who haven’t been selected is at their own expenses. To register please fill out the form below and send it to indodutch@nwo.nl.
MeitY, the Government of India, and NWO aim to stimulate sustainable research collaboration between their two countries by funding joint public private research projects. The first call was launched in 2014 and resulted in five joint Indo-Dutch projects. The budget of the second call is expected to cover funding for approximately six bilateral projects, jointly funded by MeitY and NWO. To ensure successful collaboration, project proposals should be prepared by a bilateral consortium. In kind and in cash matching from industrial partner(s) will be mandatory.
