IMI Stakeholder Forum 2015 - registration now open

The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) organises a Stakeholder Forum which will take place on June 15, 2015 at the Hotel Crown Plaza - Le Palace in Brussels, Belgium. Deadline for registration is June 5, 2015. Every year, the IMI Stakeholder Forum gathers its stakeholders in health and medicines R&D and provides them with an opportunity to learn about and discuss the latest activities and plans of IMI. The event will start at 10:30 and end at approximately 18:00.

All stakeholders in health and medicines research and drug development are welcome at the Forum: policy makers, academia, pharmaceutical industry and other sectors in healthcare, SMEs and mid-sized enterprises, patient representatives and regulators, representatives of other public-private partnerships and research funding organisations.

The goal of the IMI 2 is to develop next generation vaccines, medicines and treatments, such as new antibiotics. It will build on the successes and lessons learnt under IMI. Like IMI, it will bring together companies, universities, public laboratories, innovative small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), patient groups and regulators in collaborative projects that will pave the way for breakthrough vaccines, medicines and treatments to tackle Europe’s growing health challenges, and secure the future international competitiveness of Europe’s pharmaceutical industry.
