Retina - IRRF research projects 2013 ($ 100,000)

The International Retinal Research Foundation (IRRF) invites proposals for its research project programme. The closing date for submitting nominations is May 1, 2013. The maximum annual funding amount is $ 100,000 per research project.

IRRF supports scientific research on the diseases of the human eye, especially its center, the macula, and peripheral retinal research that ultimately will accelerate the outcome of discovery. Specific consideration will be given to those scientists who are actively working toward discovering the causes, preventions, and cures of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. Limited funding is available for postdoctoral training in the area of vision research and for educational and scientific exchange.
