Parkinson's - MJFF launches series of funding programmes ($ 1,000,000)

The Michael J. Fox Foundation (MJFF) has launched a new series of funding programmes:
• MJFF Biosample and Tissue Resource RFA - Fall 2013: Pre-proposals due: April 3, 2013, up to $ 500,000;
• LRRK2 Pharmacodynamic Assays 2013: Pre-proposals due: April 3, 2013, up to two years and $ 250,000 in total costs;
• Target Validation - Fall 2013: Pre-proposals Due: May 29, 2013, up to $ 250,000;
• Therapeutic Pipeline Program - Fall 2013: Pre-proposals due: April 3, 2013, differs per project;
• Synuclein Therapeutic Acceleration Program (SynTAP 2013): Pre-proposals due: April 3, 2013, up to two years and a maximum of $ 1,000,000 in total costs.

Other upcoming funding opportunities are:
• Rapid Response Innovation Awards: No deadline; Applications accepted anytime, up to $ 75,000;
• Dyskinesia Challenge 2013: No deadline; applications accepted anytime up to one year in duration and $ 125,000;
• LRRK2 Challenge 2013: No deadline; applications accepted anytime, up to one year and $ 125,000;
• Neurotrophic Factors Challenge 2013: No deadline; applications accepted anytime, up to one year in duration and $ 125,000.
