Top sector Life Sciences & Health will develop the new Knowledge and Innovation (K&I) Agenda 2016-2019

The new K&I-agenda will be presented at the Ministry the 1st of June, 2015. The K&I-agenda forms the base of future years knowledge and innovation contracts, of which that of 2016-2017 is to be presented the 1st of October at the latest. Both the K&I agenda and subsequent contracts preferably form a product of co-creation with all involved in the sector. LSH invites stakeholders to follow the website for updates and further requests for input.

The Dutch Life Sciences & Health (LSH) sector is one of nine “top sectors” in the Netherlands. The top sectors are designated by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs and are selected on their ability to contribute substantially to global societal challenges. Health~Holland is the top sector's communication channel.
The top sector LSH entails a broad scope of disciplines, from pharmaceuticals to medtech, from healthcare infrastructure to vaccination. In order to realise its mission – vital citizens in a healthy economy - the top sector builds on the strengths of the Dutch Life Sciences & Health sector to address the biggest societal challenges in prevention, cure and care: improving the quality of life (vitality) while restraining the costs of healthcare.
