Cognitive mechanisms - Fondation Fyssen Post Doctoral Study Grants 2018 (€ 30,000)

The Fyssen Foundation invites proposals for Post Doctoral Study Grants. Deadline for submitting applications is April 5, 2018. The grants are ment for post-doctoral researchers under the age of 36, working on research disciplines such as Ethology, Paleontology, Archaeology, Anthropology, Psychology, Epistemology, Logic and  Sciences of nervous system, who wish to achieve their project in a Laboratory in France. Grants are up to € 30,000 per year.

The aim of the Fyssen Foundation is to “encourage all forms of scientific inquiry into cognitive mechanisms, including thought and reasoning, which underlie animal and human behaviour; their biological and cultural bases, and phylogenetic and ontogenetic development”.

Grants are allocated from 12 months, not renewable, or 24 months subject to the approval of the Scientific commitee after examination of a report at the end of first year. The Post doctoral fellowship will start on September 1 of the application year the earliest and at the latest on January of the following year.
