Winners announced for the 2017 Most Innovative European Biotech SME Awards
Top European Biotech SMEs announced at 8th edition of EuropaBio Awards. Twenty-seven innovative biotech companies from a dozen European countries applied for this year’s competition. The winners are: NovaBiotics (healthcare biotech, UK), Carbios (industrial biotech, France) and Iden Biotechnology (agricultural biotech, Spain). Runner-up in the category healthcare is Nightingale Health. Runner-up in the category industrial is Numaferm.

EuropaBio’s Most Innovative Biotech SME Award aims to reward European Biotech SMEs that have developed innovative solutions to technical, social and environmental problems. The award is committed to strengthening the biotechnology and innovation arena in Europe while promoting and empowering SMEs to generate novel solutions to unmet needs. Depending on their field of activity, SMEs can apply in 3 categories: healthcare, agricultural or industrial biotech.
