Lymphangioleiomyomatosis - LAM Foundation Research Funding 2013 ($ 150,000)

The LAM Foundation invites applications for its research awards. Deadline for submissions is July 30, 2013. The LAM Foundation seeks an effective treatment, and ultimately a cure, for lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) through advocacy and the funding of promising research.

The LAM Foundation has three award types: Fellowship Awards, Established Investigator Awards, and Pilot Project Awards.
• The goal of the Fellowship Award is to enable investigators to gather sufficient preliminary data to apply for more substantial funding from federal agencies. The fellowships provide a maximum of $ 50,000 per year, renewable for two additional years; 
• The goal of the Established Investigator Award is to enable investigators to gather sufficient preliminary data to apply for more substantial funding from federal agencies. The awards provide three years of salary support for a technician. The maximum award amount for each year is $ 50,000;
• LAM Pilot Project Awards are granted for one year to enable investigators to gather sufficient preliminary data for more substantial LAM funding.The maximum award amount for each year of this award is $ 25,000.
