Cancer - WCRF International Regular Grant Programme 2014/2015 (£ 250,000)

The World Cancer Research Fund International (WCRF) invites proposals for its Regular Grant Programme. Deadline of submissions is October 10, 2014. The Programme comprises two main grant types, namely Investigator Initiated Grants and Pilot Grants.

Investigator Initiated Grants are awarded to Principal Investigators for a maximum of £ 250,000 for up to four years, with a limit of £ 75,000 for any one year. Pilot Grants are intended as start-up funds for pilot research on innovative ideas relevant to WCRF International research themes. This will allow researchers to collect preliminary data and to develop their idea to a stage where an application for an IIG would be appropriate. These grants are up to £ 60,000 for a maximum period of two years.

The WCRF International Regular Grant Programme is dedicated to funding research on the role of food, nutrition, physical activity and weight management on cancer around the world.
