Alcohol Research - ERAB Travel, Exchange and Printing Awards 2014-2 (€ 2,500)

The European Foundation for Alcohol Research (ERAB) offers Travel, Exchange and Printing Awards to encourage high quality young researchers (under the age of 35) from the European Union who are undertaking research into the biomedical and psychosocial aspects of consumption of alcoholic drinks. The closing date for submitting applications is October 6, 2014.

ERAB is offering:
• Travel awards for young researchers to attend and present data at conferences. The maximum awards are € 750 for conferences within Europe and € 1,500 for conferences outside Europe. A maximum of 6 are awarded per annum;
• Funding for exchange visits for young researchers working in the field of alcohol research to visit centres of excellence. The maximum award is € 2,500 and a maximum of 6 are awarded per annum;
• Funding towards printing costs for PhD theses regarding research into the biomedical and psychosocial aspects of consumption of alcoholic drinks. The maximum award is € 1,500.

ERAB is an independent European alcohol research foundation. ERAB was established to fund biomedical and psychosocial research into beer and other alcoholic drinks. Applications are invited from researchers in established European research institutions or universities.
