Call 2017 Research Fund for Coal and Steel open for applications

The European Commission has published a specific call under the EU programme for the Research Fund for Coal and Steel (RFCS). Deadline of submission of the call RFCS-2017 is September 15, 2017 and the budget is € 27,000,000. The RFCS programme launches every year an annual call in order to support research projects, pilot and demonstration projects and accompanying measures for the valorisation of the knowledge gained.

RFCS provides funding for high quality research projects which support the competitiveness of the European Coal and Steel industries. The programme covers core production processes; new products and applications, quality control, utilisation and conversion of resources, safety at work, environmental protection by reduction of emissions from coal use and steel production, and social issues.
