Employment and Social Innovation - Support for the deployment of skills assessments in the implementation of “Upskilling Pathways”

The European Commission has published a new call for proposals under the programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI). For the call Promotion of domestic worker cooperatives and service voucher schemes (VP/2018/008) a budget of € 1,500,000 available. The funding requested should be between € 250,000 and € 500,000. Deadline for submitting applications is July 6, 2018. The duration should indicatively be between 12 and 24 months.

The specific objective of this call is to support the deployment by national and/or regional authorities, as an integral element in their implementation of the Recommendation on Upskilling Pathways, of the provision of individual skills assessments (including literacy, numeracy and digital skills) for low skilled / low qualified adults (and in particular for priority groups identified by countries in the framework of the Recommendation, where relevant).

 

On May 29 from 15.00 hrs to 17.00 hrs (Brussels time), a webinar is organised to present the call in greater detail and respond to questions from potential applicants. The webinar will be held in English.

 

The EaSI programme is a financing instrument at EU level to promote a high level of quality and sustainable employment, guaranteeing adequate and decent social protection, combating social exclusion and poverty and improving working conditions. EaSI integrates and extends the coverage of three existing programmes: Progress (Programme for Employment and Social Solidarity), EURES (European Employment Services) and the European Progress Microfinance Facility.
