Cognitive mechanisms - Fondation Fyssen Post Doctoral Study Grants 2015 (€ 25,000)

The Fyssen Foundation invites proposals for Post Doctoral Study Grants. The closing date for reception of nominations is April 1, 2015. The grants will be awarded to research scientists under the age of 35 who wish to work in French laboratories. Grants are up to € 25,000 per year. The application forms will be online available from February 10, 2015.

The aim of Fyssen Foundation is to "encourage all forms of scientific inquiry into cognitive mechanisms, including thought and reasoning, which underlie animal and human behaviour; their biological and cultural bases, and phylogenetic and ontogenetic development". The Foundation aims to support research which will lead to a more rigorous and precise approach to this fundamental domain, calling upon such disciplines as ethology, paleontology, archaeology, anthropology, psychology, logic and the neurosciences.
