Company registration opened for New Business Challenge Ghana

During the New Business Challenge Ghana (NBC), Dutch and Ghanaian students will be working on solutions for business challenges of Dutch companies. There is a program in place for the students, including studytrips and workshops, which is designed to maximize their development and to arrive at the best possible solution for the business challenge.18 Dutch companies have already participated in the previous editions of the NBC.

The New Business Challenge Ghana will be organised for the 5th time in the summer of 2018 and there is place for 5 Dutch companies that are doing business in Ghana. More information on the timelines and participation as a company can be found here. The New Business Challenge Ghana (NBC) is an unique business case competition where twenty Dutch and twenty Ghanaian students and young professionals work together in mixed teams on business cases from five companies. This challenge is all about discovering new sustainable business opportunities for the private sector and maximising the entrepreneurial potential of the participants.

 

Ten mixed teams, all consisting of two Dutch and two Ghanaians, will work on implementable sustainable business solutions for the companies. A well-balanced programme is in place for participants to arrive at the best possible solution and to maximize their development. The teams go at the end of July on two study trips full with trainings, workshops and fieldtrips. They will be coached and supported by experts and professionals. All teams present their solutions at the Residency of the Dutch Ambassador in Ghana at the end of the study trip. An independent jury will choose the winning business solution of the NBC.
