Two new NICHE tenders Benin

Nuffic has published two new NICHE calls for projects in Benin. The call 'Renforcement des capacités académiques des enseignants-chercheurs de l’INMeS' has a budget of up to € 2,800.000. The other call 'Renforcement des Ecoles Normales Supérieures et des Ecoles Normales d’Instituteurs pour une meilleure santé sexuelle en milieu scolaire au Bénin' has a budget of up to € 1,000,000. Deadline of both calls is November 12, 2015. The Netherlands Initiative for Capacity development in Higher Education (NICHE) is a Netherlands-funded development cooperation programme aimed at sustainable strengthening of higher education and technical and vocation education and training (TVET) capacity in partner countries, thus contributing to economic development and poverty reduction. The programme focuses on the countries and policy priorities identified in the Dutch bilateral cooperation programme. In line with the current development policy of the Netherlands NICHE focuses on four policy priorities: • Water; • Food security; • Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR); • Security and the rule of Law.
