Alzheimer's Research UK funding opportunities 2015 (£ 100,000)

The Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) invites applications for different grant schemes. ARUK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity specialising in finding preventions, causes, treatments and a cure for dementia. ARUK has a large number of different grant schemes through which researchers can apply for funding. Grants are up to £ 100,000.

Researchers can apply for:
• Clinical Research Fellowship: up to three years and funding for salary at Specialty Registrar level or equivalent university scales and a contribution up to £ 20,000 per annum toward research, animal and travel costs;
• Equipment: provides funds for scientific equipment (flexibly defined). Funding is upwards of £ 10,000 to a maximum of £ 100,000;
• Sabbaticals/Secondments: for tenure researchers who wish to enrich their research programmes and establish collaborations. Funding is up to £ 50,000 and can include staff salaries, equipment, animals, running costs, or any combinations of these.

Deadline for the Clinical Research Fellowship is November 18, 2015. For Equipment and Sabbaticals/Secondments, the the upcoming deadline is November 20, 2015.
