Florence - Max Weber Fellowships (€ 72,000)

The European University Institute in Florence, Italy invites applications for its Max Weber Fellowships. Deadline for submitting proposals is October 25, 2014. The Programme offers 1 - 2 year fellowships to junior post-docs who have received a doctorate in economics, history, law or political and social sciences in the last 5 years. In exceptional cases, three year Fellowships may be offered.

The basic stipend is € 2,000 per month. Furthermore a household allowance of € 300 per month is paid to fellows with a partner and € 200 per month for each dependent child living with the Fellow in Florence.

The Max Weber Programme is the largest postdoctoral programme for young researchers in the social sciences and humanities in Europe. It is funded by the European Commission (DG Education) and hosted by the European University Institute.
