Review process of THALEA projects delayed

THALEA enables Intensive Care Units to improve the care for acutely live-threatened patients by telemedicine and telemonitoring. Because of an additional review process the Thalea project will be delayed by up to three months.

The THALEA project is implemented by pre-commercial procurement (PCP). Because PCP is a new type of tender procedure, the THALEA partners want to exercise due caution with regards to EU regulations and legislation. Therefore all THALEA tender documents will be reviewed by three independent EU supervisors, which causes the delay.
