Another new European Investment Bank University Research Sponsorship call

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has published another new call for its University Research Sponsorship Programme (EIBURS). Deadline for submitting proposals is April 15, 2018. EIBURS provides grants to university departments or research centres associated with universities in EU, candidate or potential candidate countries working on research topics of major interest to the Bank. The sponsorships are up to € 100,000 per year for a period of three years.

For the academic year 2018/2019, the EIBURS programme is seeking proposals on a new research theme: ‘Improving the measurement of the indirect effects of investment projects: specifying and calibrating EIA methods to maximise compatibility with CBA’.

EIB sponsorships are awarded through a competitive process to interested university departments or research centres, associated with universities in EU, candidate countries or potential candidate countries, with recognised expertise in EIB-selected areas, so they can expand their activities in these areas.
