European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes - three new funding opportunities (€ 400,000)

The European Foundation for the Study of Diabetes (EFSD) has published three new grants. Deadline for the EFSD and Novo Nordisk A/S Programme for Diabetes Research in Europe is February 1, 2016. Grants are up to € 100,000 for basic research projects and € 400,000 for clinical research projects. Furthermore a deadline of February 15, 2015 has been set for both the EFSD/Lilly Research Fellowship Programme (€ 50,000 each) and the EFSD Rising Star Fellowship Programme (€ 30,000 each).  
Please note that there is also an upcoming deadline of November 1, 2015 for two other programmes. These are the EFSD European Diabetes Research Programme in Cellular Plasticity Underlying the Pathophysiology of Type 2 Diabetes supported by a research grant from AstraZeneca (grants up to € 100,000) and the EFSD Clinical Diabetes Research Programme in Macrovascular Complications of Diabetes supported by a research grant from AstraZeneca (grants up to € 300,000). Available throughout the year are the Albert Renold Travel Fellowships supported by Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD). Fellowships will be for up to € 8,000.
