New NICHE Tender for Burundi published

Nuffic has published a new NICHE call for subsidy tenders for a project in Burundi. The closing date for applications is November 10, 2016. The call 'Appui à la réforme du programme de medicine' (NICHE-BDI-240), has a budget of € 3,000,000. This call is part of the Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights priority. The Netherlands Initiative for Capacity development in Higher Education (NICHE) is a Netherlands-funded development cooperation programme aimed at sustainable strengthening of higher education and technical and vocation education and training (TVET) capacity in partner countries, thus contributing to economic development and poverty reduction. The programme focuses on the countries and policy priorities identified in the Dutch bilateral cooperation programme. In line with the current development policy of the Netherlands NICHE focuses on four policy priorities:

Water; 
Food security; 
Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR); 
Security and the rule of Law.
