Four projects awarded in NWO Graduate school horticulture and starting materials

The division of Earth and Life Sciences (ALW) of NWO has funded four projects with a grant from the programme Graduate school horticulture and starting materials. This programme aims to support innovative and high quality scientific research within the research area Horticulture and Starting Materials. The maximum budget requested from NWO is € 231,250. This research provides the basis for strategic, applied and valorization research, and offers perspective for contributing to solutions for societal and economic issues within this economic priority area. At the same time it will provide further, on the job, training to researchers, and will enhance the exchange of knowledge between knowledge institutions, public institutions and private sector companies.
