NWO publishes Cooperation call 2018 between Indonesia and The Netherlands

NWO and the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (RISTEKDIKTI), together launch a call for 2018 in the Cooperation Indonesia-The Netherlands programme. Consortia of research institutes and other organisations (both public and private) in the Netherlands and in Indonesia can apply for funding of joint research projects that focus on food, water, and rule of law. Deadline for submitting a Letter of Intent is May 17, 2018.

The total budget available for the call is € 1,5 million. Funding is up to € 250,000 per project, with a duration of three years. Aim of the programme is to:

• strengthening co-operation in the fields of science and innovation; 
• address the pressing current problems in society, to strengthen research capabilities and to encourage scientific excellence in Indonesia and the Netherlands through interactions of scientists and scholars at institutions in both countries; 
• promote interdisciplinary research in areas of medium and long term interest, particularly those related to mutual priorities. 

Deadline for submitting full proposals is June 14, 2018. The call is executed by NWO-WOTRO Science for Global Development.
