Blaise Pascal Research Chairs 2015 (€ 180,000)
The State and the Ile-de-France Region are establishing new International Blaise Pascal Research Chairs to accommodate highly qualified, internationally acclaimed, foreign research scientists in all scientific fields: exact sciences, life sciences, humanities and social sciences, applied sciences and new technologies. The deadline to submit applications is April 2, 2015.
Financial amounts attributed to each project are up to € 180,000. This covers expenses linked to the researcher’s pay, as well as resources needed to run the project (an assistant, travel expenses, expenses relating to attending conferences, moving into accommodation, etc.), but excluding equipment.
Each chair allows highly qualified, internationally acclaimed, foreign research scientists in all disciplines, accompanied if they wish by other research workers, to continue their work on a scientific project for a 12 months period that could be spread over two years in a higher learning institution or research institution in Paris/Ile-de-France.
