Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance - General research grants 2019

Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance (FARA) accepts proposals for its General research grants. Upcoming deadline for submitting Letters of Intent is February 1, 2019. Funding is up to $ 150,000 per year for one or two years. Grants can be requested for salaries for all those contributing to the research project (PI, postdocs, graduate students, research associates, etc.). For-profit organizations, non-profit organizations, public or private institutions, and foreign institutions may apply.

Friedreich's Ataxia Research Alliance supports research through funding competitive grants, promoting collaboration among scientists, advocating for public-private partnerships that support drug discovery, drug development and clinical research and hosting open forums for leading scientists to share their insights, ideas and challenges to advancing treatments for FA.
