Call for proposals: € 15.000 for public libraries advocacy projects

The Reading & Writing Foundation supports advocacy projects at any level, that outline services that public libraries provide in the areas of social inclusion, digital inclusion or lifelong learning. Each public library, association or organization related to public libraries can apply for a grant up to € 15,000. There are three deadlines for applications: 17 October 2014, 17 April 2015 and 16 October 2015.

Consider, that all projects will have to be implemented and results delivered by April 15, 2016. The overall budget for advocacy projects is limited; therefore, it is in your interest to apply early.

The Foundation will fund newly developed projects or ongoing initiatives tailored specifically to this programme. Applying is possible for all of the 28 EU countries. The project objective has to be clearly stated and it has to be explained how it will be achieved. Applications must be submitted in English and signed by the authorized representative of the organization. There will be a limited number of projects to fund. Therefore, interested parties are advised to apply early.
