Down syndrome - Fondation Jérôme Lejeune grants (€ 40,000)

The Fondation Jérôme Lejeune invites applications for its research grants. Closing date for submitting proposals is August 19. 2013. Interested teams and researchers may submit fundamental or clinical research projects to its Scientific Committee (neurosciences, behaviour, genetics, molecular biology, therapeutics, adult or cord blood stem cells, etc.), aimed at leading to the discovery of treatments improving abilities of patients suffering from genetic diseases with mental deficiency, especially the trisomy 21 (Down syndrome). The Fondation also considers support for congresses or courses organization. The maximum grant is € 20,000 for one year or € 40,000 for two years.
