European call on collaboration with Southeast Asia published

NWO-WOTRO Science for global development participates in the Pilot Joint Call for Mobility between Southeast Asia and Europe. Deadline for submitting applications is September 14, 2015. Mobility projects in the fields of Environmental, Health or Food should aim to establish new and strengthen existing networks with multidisciplinary approaches between Europe and Southeast Asian. NWO funding is up to € 10,000 per team.

Projects in The Netherlands should have at least two partners from both regions in the fields of:

environmental: climate change, water resource management, smarter cities, biodiversity & energy;
health: (neglected) infectious diseases, antimicrobial drug resistance;
food: agricultural productivity, sustainability and standards, value chain.

Other participating countries are Austria, Belgium, Cambodia, France, Germany, Lao PDR, Myanmar, the Philippines, Poland and Thailand. Research proposals can be submitted by Dutch (based in The Netherlands) research institutions and universities.
