Cancer - WCRF International Regular Grant Programme (£ 250,000)

The World Cancer Research Fund International (WCRF) invites proposals for its Regular Grant Programme. Deadline of submissions is October 11, 2013. The Programme comprises two main grant types:

• Investigator Initiated grants: awarded to principal investigators from anywhere in the world, except the Americas. The grants are up to £ 250,000 for up to four years, with a limit of £75,000 for any one year;
• Regional Seed Grants: awarded to principal investigators from the UK, the Netherlands, and Hong Kong, where WCRF International network member charities operate (excluding the USA). The grants of up to £ 60,000 for a maximum period of two years, are intended as start-up funds for pilot research on innovative ideas relevant to WCRF International research priorities. This will allow researchers to collect preliminary data and to develop their idea to a stage where an application for an Investigator Initiated Grant would be appropriate.

The WCRF International Regular Grant Programme is dedicated to funding research on the role of food, nutrition, physical activity and weight management on cancer around the world.
