Brains - IBRO Return Home Programme 2015 (€ 20,000)

The International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) asks for applications for its Return Home Fellowships. The application deadline is September 1, 2015. The objective of the programme is to coordinate efforts with other organizations to both improve the opportunities for productive neuroscience research (allied to health services) within the less advantaged regions of the world and to provide more aid to those researchers trained overseas who wish return to their home countries.

Online application opens approximately one month before the deadline. Funding is up to € 20,000.

Three profiles of scientists will be the main target of the Return Home Programme of IBRO:
• Postdoctoral fellows who have finished research training in neurosciences (including clinical research) in a center of excellence of a developed country;
• Research students who have been trained in a Centre of Excellence in Brain Research (CEBR);
• Scientists who are developing a successful basic/clinical research career in a developed country and wish to return to their country of origin or to a less developed country for personal or cultural reasons.
