New NICHE Tender: Food security in Rwanda

Nuffic has published a new NICHE call for subsidy tenders for a project in Rwanda. The closing date for applications is July 7, 2015. The call 'Strengthening educational institutes in providing capacity building services for sustainable agricultural development in Rwanda' (NICHE-RWA-249), has a budget of € 10,000,000. The Netherlands Initiative for Capacity development in Higher Education (NICHE) is a Netherlands-funded development cooperation programme aimed at sustainable strengthening of higher education and technical and vocation education and training (TVET) capacity in partner countries, thus contributing to economic development and poverty reduction. The programme focuses on the countries and policy priorities identified in the Dutch bilateral cooperation programme. In line with the current development policy of the Netherlands NICHE focuses on four policy priorities:
• Water;
• Food security;
• Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR);
• Security and the rule of Law.
