European Synchrotron Radiation Facility - Applying for beam time 2014

The European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF) offers universities and industrial firms the possibility to apply for beam time. Requests for beam time are based on shifts of 8 hours. Allocations of beam time will usually be made in multiples of 3 shifts. Two proposal review rounds are held each year. The upcoming deadline to submit proposals is March 1, 2014 for beam time from August 2014 to February 2015. For Long-Term Project (LTP) applications can be submitted once a year with a fixed deadline of 15 January.
