'Workshop on collaborative learning as design activity', Copenhagen, Denmark
2012-10-14 The 'Workshop on collaborative learning as design activity' will take place on 14 October 2012 in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Interactive learning environments have a variety of participation levels. These range from interactive models of complex phenomena (such as in science learning) to social learning environments that stimulate discussion of ideas and clarification of issues.
Social media have enabled interactive learning environments to more fully reach users. At the same time, advances in ubiquitous computing and mobile devices have improved access and computing. This is leading to a shift of users away from being consumers of information to content providers.
The event will examine how combining interactive models with social sharing (or applying wiki principles to interactive learning environments) may prove invaluable in designing collaborative learning systems.
