Epilepsy - AES Epilepsy Research Recognition Awards Program 2013 ($ 10,000)

The American Epilepsy Society (AES) invites proposals for its Epilepsy Research Recognition Awards Program. Deadline of submissions is August 5, 2013. The annual programme is a public recognition  designed to encourage and reward clinical and basic science investigators whose research contributes importantly to understanding and conquering epilepsy. Funds for the programme have been generously provided to the AES. Any individual holding a professional degree and whose research impacts on any aspect of epilepsy is eligible to apply. Two awards will be given in the amount of $ 10,000 each.

The AES seeks to promote interdisciplinary communications, scientific investigation and exchange of clinical information about epilepsy. Membership consists of clinicians, scientists investigating basic and clinical aspects of epilepsy, and other professionals interested in seizure disorders. Members represent both pediatric and adult aspects of epilepsy.
