Neurofibromatosis - CTF Drug Discovery Initiative 2013 ($ 75,000)

The Children's Tumor Foundation (CTF) invites proposals for its Drug Discovery Initiative Awards program (DDI) 2013. The closing date is April 15, 2013. The program supports early stage screening of candidate drug therapies for the treatment of neurofibromatosis (NF): NF1, NF2 and schwannomatosis. Awards available are the following:
• $ 25,000 for in vitro studies;
• $ 50,000 for in vivo studies;
• A limited number of DDI Advanced Awards of up to $ 75,000 are available. Only prior recipients of DDI in vivo Awards may apply for DDI Advanced Award.

The CTF is a non-profit medical foundation, dedicated to improving the health and well being of individuals and families affected by the neurofibromatoses (NF). One of its missions is to encourage and support research and the development of treatments and cures for neurofibromatosis types 1 and 2, schwannomatosis and related disorders.
