Behavioural Research - Van der Gaag Grants (€ 9,700)

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) invites applications for the Van der Gaag Grants. Deadline for submissions is October 5, 2015. The Academy Fund for Behavioural Research makes the Academy Van der Gaag Grants available to promising young researchers who are studying the biological, psychological and social determinants of human behaviour. Funding is up to € 9,700. The duration of the research or working visit abroad is between one and four consecutive months. Researchers at a Dutch institute can apply for a grant to cover a research project abroad or a working visit to a foreign institution.

The Van der Gaag Fund was established by J.M. Verhoog in 1988 and transferred to the Academy in 1993. It is also responsible for endowing four chairs in research on 'prosocial behaviour' for a period of five years.
The KNAW administers the Academy Behavioural Research Fund. The purpose of the fund is to promote outstanding behavioural research.
