Behavioural Research - Sara van Dam Project Grants (€ 100,000)

The Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW) invites applications for the Sara van Dam Project Grants. Deadline for submissions is October 5, 2015. The Academy Fund for Behavioural Research makes the Sara van Dam Project Grants available for research projects concerning the development of children growing up in the Netherlands or in Israel. Funding is between € 20,000 and € 100,000. The total budget available for 2015 is € 580,000. Researchers who obtained their PhD no more than ten years previously are welcome to apply. Collaboration with a young researcher working at a research institute in Israel is preferable.

Mr Jacob van Dam (1934-2013) bequeathed his estate to the Academy, which established the Sara van Dam z.l. Foundation in accordance with his wishes. The KNAW administers the Academy Fund for Behavioural Research, whose purpose is to promote outstanding scientific behavioural research.
