Molecules - Heinrich Wieland Prize 2020

The Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation invites nominations for its Heinrich Wieland Prize for 2020. Deadline for applications is June 1, 2019. The Prize consists of € 100,000 and is awarded annually to honour and recognise outstanding research on biologically active molecules and systems in the areas of chemistry, biochemistry and physiology as well as on their clinical impact.

The prize is named after Heinrich Wieland, a Nobel Prize Laureate in chemistry, and presented every autumn in Munich, Germany. Self-applications will not be considered. The Heinrich Wieland Prize is one of the most prestigious international science prizes presented in Germany. Since 1964, it has been awarded yearly to outstanding scientists who have significantly advanced their field.
