Hemophilia - Bayer Hemophilia Awards Programme 2018/2019
Bayer Healthcare invites applications for its Bayer Hemophilia Awards Programme (BHAP). Deadline to submit a Letter of Intent is November 30, 2018. The programme supports basic and clinical research and education in hemophilia. Through grants provided to early career investigators, fellows in training, and other hemophilia care professionals, the BHAP seeks to support the next steps for the next generation of care and treatment options for people with hemophilia worldwide.
For the 2018/2019 cycle there are three types of awards: the Clinical Research Award, the Basic Research Award and the Fellowship Project Award:
- Clinical Research Project awards will provide funding of up to $ 75,000 for one year. Up to 15% may be requested as salary support and up to 20% may be requested as overhead. Up to three awards will be granted for the 2018/2019 cycle;
- Basic Research Project awards will provide funding of up to $ 75,000 for one year. Up to 15% may be requested as salary support and up to 20% may be requested as overhead. Up to three awards will be granted for the 2018/2019 cycle;
- Fellowship Project awards will provide funding of up to $ 80,000 for one year. Salary support is anticipated; there is no cap but the Committee will be looking for remuneration to be commensurate with institutional norms. Up to 20% may be requested as overhead. Two awards will be granted for the 2018/2019 cycle.
