Fall edition 2017 Venture Challenge for starters in Life Sciences open for proposals

Venture Challenge is looking for starting companies in the Life Sciences who want to receive coaching and advice on essential elements of setting up a business, thereby paving the way for future success. The submission deadline is September 4, 2017. In two 3-day workshops ‘competing’ teams will be challenged to write business plans, to learn how to pitch business cases and more valuable coaching.

At the end of the Challenge, the team with the best Venture Plan and pitch is awarded a moneyprize.

• Interviews: September 2017;
• Workshops I: 2 - 4 October 2017;
• Workshops II: 1 - 3 November 2017;
• Finals: 17 November 2017;
• Announcement of the winner: 22 November 2017, Dutch Life Science Conference, Oss. 

The first Venture Challenge was held in the fall of 2008. Eleven editions were sponsored by the Netherlands Genomics Initiative (NGI). Since 2014 the Venture Challenge is sponsored by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Life Sciences Health and BioGeneration Ventures.
