Calefax composers competition 2014 open for applications

Calefax invites composers and arrangers of all ages and nationalities to participate in the 7th annual Composers Competition for Reed Quintet. Central theme of this year’s competition is ‘the Art of Arranging’. The winning composition/arrangement will be premiered in the Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam, on December 28, 2014. The winning composer will also be awarded a prize of € 1.000.

Entries must be recieved by December 1, 2014. Submitted compositions or arrangements should have a maximum length of ten minutes.
