New call Employment and Social Innovation published

The European Commission has published a new call for proposals under the programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI). For the call Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme - Operating grants 2019 to Framework Partners active in the area of disability (VP/2018/015) a budget of € 2,801,000 is available. The grant may not exceed 80% of the total eligible costs of the actions. The Commission expects to fund only seven proposals. Deadline of submissions is September 20, 2018.

Aim of the call is to provide specific operating grants for the year 2019 to European networks having signed a Framework Partnership Agreements 2018-2021 with the European Commission. The objective  is to promote and protect the rights of persons with disabilities, to ensure that people with disabilities can fully enjoy their rights. 

The Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme contributes to the further development of an area where equality and the rights of persons, as enshrined in the Treaty, the Charter and international human rights conventions, are promoted and protected. The EaSI programme is a financing instrument at EU level to promote a high level of quality and sustainable employment, guaranteeing adequate and decent social protection, combating social exclusion and poverty and improving working conditions.
