Dutch Kidney Foundation - Kolff Programme Biomedical Science 2015 (€ 400,000)

The Dutch Kidney Foundation (Nierstichting Nederland) invites applications for its Kolff Programme in Biomedical Science. Closing date for submitting proposals for Large Kolff Grants is August 25, 2015. Early Kolff Grants can be applied for the year through. The Kolff call 2015 is a clinical call. Talented biomedical researchers interested in nephrological research can apply. Total available budget for the Kolff Biomedical Call 2015 is € 1,250,000.  
The aims of the programme are:

The stimulation of the quality of the personel scientific infrastructure of renal research and nephrology in the Netherlands by means of a program of personal grants that support all the phases of a research career;
Stronger links between research and therapies;
Enhancing application of results from nephrological research. Strengthening the bond between the Dutch Kidney Foundation (DKF) and the research community.

Early Kolff Grants are the following:

Beurs Student Onderzoeker - Student Researcher Grant: The grant awards either € 250 per month (1 day a week), or € 500 a month (2 days a week), for support for at least 2 up to 12 months;
Stage Buitenland voor Studenten - Student Fellowship Abroad: The grant awards at most € 500 a month, for support for at least 2 up to 6 months;
Stage Buitenland voor Promovendi en Postdocs - PhD Postdoc Fellowship Abroad: The grant provides support for at least 3 up to 6 months for PhD students and at least 3 up to 12 months for postdocs. The grant awards at most € 1,250 a month.

Large Kolff Grants are the following:

Fellowship Buitenland - Full Fellowship Abroad: The grant provides support for up to 1 year. The grant awards up to € 80,000 in accordance with the DKF PFM;
Beurs Arts Onderzoeker - Physician Researcher Grant: The grant provides support for up to 4 years. The grant awards up to € 60,000 in accordance with the DKF PFM;
Postdoc Startup Beurs - Postdoc Startup Grant: The grant provides support for up to 2 years, in case of a clinical grant for up to 4 years. The grant awards up to € 150,000 in accordance with the DKF PFM;
Junior Postdoc Beurs - Junior Postdoc Grant: The general grant provides support for up to 3 years, the clinical grant for up to 6 years. The grant awards up to € 200,000 in accordance with the DKF PFM;
Senior Postdoc Beurs - Senior Postdoc Grant: The general grant provides support for up to 4 years research, the clinical grant up to 6 years. The grant awards up to € 400,000 in accordance with the DKF PFM.
