Fourth European Innovation Summit, Brussels, Belgium

2012-10-09 The Fourth European Innovation Summit will take place from 9 to 10 October 2012 in Brussels, Belgium.

Organised in the European Parliament, this year's debates will target policies relevant for innovation that are currently under review by the institution. Those include the likes of Horizon 2020, the Cohesion Policy, COSME and the MFF.
The summit will feature an opening reception with Máire Geoghegan-Quinn, European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science. It will provide an excellent opportunity for all stakeholders to discuss main innovation challenges with Members of the European Parliament, Commissioners and high-level EU-officials. Solutions with the aim to improve Europe's innovation performance will be suggested and discussed, and they will inspire policy makers in the decisions to be made.
