Diabetes Fonds publishes call Fellowships for 2019

The Dutch Diabetes Research Foundation (DDRF) invites applications for its research Fellowships. Deadline for submitting a Letter of Intent is February 18, 2019. The fellowships aim to encourage promising scientists to further their career in diabetes research. There are two types of funding: Junior Fellowships and Senior Fellowships. Funding is up to € 275,000 for a Junior Fellowship and up to € 325,000 for a Senior Fellowship, both for a maximum of 4 years.

The Junior Fellowships are available for junior researchers who have the ambition to further their career in diabetes research and do so in close collaboration with an established researcher. In 2019, the Foundation aims to support two Junior Fellowships. The Senior Fellowships are available for senior researchers at post-doc level who have the ambition to further their career in diabetes research and are close to starting their own research group. In 2019, the Foundation wants to support two Senior Fellowships.

DDRF organises a meeting on January 17, which takes place from 16.00 to 18.00 in Amersfoort to explain the procedure in more detail and to give tips and tricks for writing the proposal. Attendance is recommended. Your presence can be confirmed by sending an e-mail to research@diabetesfonds.nl.
